Harman’s soundcraft releases “the soundcraft guide to mixing” app for ipad
POTTERS BAR, United Kingdom – HARMAN’s Soundcraft today announced that it is releasing its popular tutorial, “The Soundcraft Guide to Mixing,” as an iPad app. Derived from the popular “Guide to Mixing” booklet. The booklet provides an introduction and explanation about what an audio mixer is, what its functions are, and the basics of setting up and using a PA system.

Имея в своем распоряжении iPad с программой ViSi Remote, пользователь может ходить с ним по концертной площадке и не только корректировать входные уровни каналов и включать mute, но и регулировать уровни aux- и матричных посылов, а также уровни и настройки графических эквалайзеров в выходных шинах.
С помощью ViSi Remote можно также управлять консолями Soundcraft серии Vi (включая Vi1, Vi2, Vi4 и Vi6), но для этого требуется соответствующее обновление программного обеспечения. Один смартфон с ViSi Remote может управлять сетью из консолей серий Vi и Si Compact, что невозможно на схожих системах от других производителей.
Любой желающий может загрузить приложение в iPad и подробно ознакомиться с его работой, причем пользователи консолей серии Vi могут сделать это до выхода обновления программного обеспечения для консоли.
Приложение использует архитектуру HiQnet для подключения сети консолей к беспроводному маршрутизатору, который и общается с iPad.
