‎two way : walkie talkie

This app is pretty fun to use and communicating with people around you or just about anybody. You can even pick up people talking in different languages or all kinds of different people. You can go on any channel you want to just like any walkie-talkie those. Also, for those of you who keeps complaining that somebody keeps getting on your channel, just change the frequency of the channel! It’s seriously is not that hard to figure out. For those of you who actually have had a regular walkie-talkie, it’s no different. It’s obviously what happens. I needed to say that because when I was looking at reviews of this app, people kept on complaining that it was being interrupted by people. Some people just do not know at all! I guess some people did not know, anyway. Back to my review. There are some words that should be done using voiceover screen reader that is when you want to change your channel or whatever. This also happened on one of the options were just says button instead of the actual thing. Overall it is really fun!

Железо

Первый iPad не был медленным, но всё же обновление ему требовалось. Уже хотя бы для того, чтобы обогнать (а планшету это по статусу положено) смартфон iPhone 4. Да и конкуренты не дремлют, готовят планшеты на двухъядерных процессорах.

Планшет Apple второго поколения получил хорошее обновление прошивки: двухъядерный процессор Apple A5 с частотой 900 МГц и удвоенный объём памяти.

Понимая, что пользователям iPad нужны не попугаи бенчмарков, а живое повышение скорости работы, я провёл несколько простых тестов:

Наследственность

Устройство сохранило полную преемственность поколений с Apple iPad 7 2021. Оно собрано в корпусе аналогичного формфактора с Retina-экраном 10.2-дюймовой размерности по диагонали. Изображение транслируется на дисплее гаджета в максимальном разрешении 2160х1620 пикселей.

Прирост производительности

Ключевые нововведения произошли в «подкапотной» части планшета. Впредь восьмое поколение iPad работает под управлением чипсета A12 Bionic, что обеспечило прирост производительности в сравнении с «семеркой» примерно на 40 %. Планшет потянет современные игры, справится с обработкой графики и не подкачает в многозадачном режиме. Объемы памяти на борту устройства стартуют с отметки 3/32 ГБ.

Экран

Незадолго до выхода iPad 2 Сеть заполонили слухи о том, что новый планшет обзаведётся экраном с удвоенным разрешением, поднявшись тем самым почти до уровня Retina Display. И даже в бета-версиях новой прошивки нашлись тому подтверждения. Но чуда не случилось — в IPad 2 установлен экран с прежним разрешением:

Однако внешне дисплеи старого и нового планшетов всё же отличаются. iPad 2 выдаёт картинку в более холодных тонах. Яркость подсветки настраивается примерно в тех же пределах, но в равных условиях внешнего освещения система автоподстройки яркости iPad 2 предпочитает поддать больше жару.

Олеофобное покрытие, защищающее экран от жирных отпечатков пальцев, было и на первом iPad. Наверняка материал изменили, доработали, улучшили — словом, не сидели не месте, — но на практике это не заметно, пачкается поверхность примерно так же.

При покупке планшета стоит проверить качество экрана конкретного экземплята — в Сети появляются сообщения о довольно распространённом браке: жёлтых пятнах и засветке возле кромки дисплея.

Исследуйте огромный, многоплановый мир Ривеллона в одиночку или вместе с тремя товарищами, каждый из которых может в любой момент присоединиться или покинуть игру. Отправляйтесь куда угодно, дайте волю воображению и находите новые способы взаимодействия с миром.
— Играйте так, как вам нравится! Игра поддерживает управление с помощью жестов, мыши и клавиатуры или других подключаемых устройств.
— Путешествуйте в одиночку, вдвоем на одном устройстве или по сети в группе до четырех игроков. Выбор за вами!
— В режиме разделения экрана двое игроков могут путешествовать по миру Ривеллона в совершенно различных его частях, и все это без экранов загрузки и прочих неприятностей.
— Приглашайте друзей, подбирайте игроков в отряд, получайте достижения в Game Center и используйте iCloud для облачных сохранений.
— Поддержка сохранений, доступных на разных устройствах и кроссплатформенной игры на Mac и iPad. Например, вы можете играть в метро, а ваш напарник – сидя за своим маком!
