How to backup iPad data to PC via Syncios Manager

Syncios Manager is a powerful iTunes alternative and iOS manager which can help you backup your iPad with a few clicks as well as transfer data between your PC and your iPad without using iTunes.

Step 1: Download and install Syncios on your computer.

*Please be sure that iTunes has already been installed on your computer for running Syncios Manager. But note you do not have to run iTunes when you use Syncios Manager.

Step 2: Connect your iPad to computer with a USB cable and launch Syncios Manager.

Go to the left panel of Syncios and click Media, Photos, Ebook or Apps tab. After you click each icon, you can see your data in different categories from the right panel. Choose any one of the categories, you can see Import, Export, Delete, New Playlist in the middle of the panel. Click «Export» button to backup your iPad data to PC.

Click Information tab on the left panel, you will see the Contacts, Notes, Bookmarks, Call History and Messages of your iPad. And you can also see New, Delete, Backup, Recover in the middle of the panel. Click «Backup» button to backup your iPad data to PC.

Version 2: Syncios Ultimate

Step 1: On the Syncios screen, you can see Toolkit on the upper right of the panel. Click “Toolkit”, and you can see many recommended functions.

Step 2: Click “1-Click Backup”, and then you can choose the data you want to backup.

Step 3: Click “Start Backup”, and then wait until the backup process finishes.

How to Backup iPad via iCloud

Step 1: Access iCloud service through the Settings menu on your iPad and tap on iCloud.

Step 2: Verify the iCloud account is set up and that Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Safari, Notes, Passbook, Keychain, Photos, Documents & Data, Find my iPad are turned on.

Ebook management

Under My Device, click Ebook tab on the left panel of Syncios.

Under Toolkit, go to Device Management and click the Photo Stream icon.

With iCloud, you can store your files, music, apps, etc. on one iPad and retrieve it on another without PC. iCloud is a way far better than iTunes for its all-dimensions data backup, anytime, anywhere. You can do your iPad to iPad transfer at high speed with fast connection. But it’s not without flaws.

Photos management

Under My Device, click Photos tab on the left panel of Syncios.

Playlist management

Under My Device, click Media tab on the left panel of Syncios.

Step 2:choose operation from add, export, delete, and refresh.

Add:

1. Click «Add» button, choose «Add File» or «Add Folder».

2. Choose ebooks in your computer and import to your iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Export:

1. Choose ebooks in your device. Hold down Ctrl/Shift key to select multiple ebooks.

2. Click «Export» button.

3. Browse output location and export ebooks from iPad/iPhone/iPod to PC.

Delete

1. Choose unwanted ebooks. Hold down Ctrl/Shift key to select multiple ebooks.

2. Click «Delete» button to remove needless Ebooks.

Refresh

1. Click «Refresh» button after imported or deleted ebooks from your device.

Step 2:choose operation from add, uninstall, backup.

Add:

1. Click «Add» button.

2. Choose apps you have downloaded in your computer to iOS devices.

Uninstall:

1. Choose apps installed in your device. Hold down Ctrl/Shift key to select multiple apps.

2. Click «Uninstall» button to uninstall apps from your iPad/iPhone/iPod.

Refresh

1. Click «Refresh» button after imported or deleted apps from your device.

Backup

1. Choose apps installed in your device. Hold down Ctrl/Shift key to select multiple apps.

2. Click «Backup» button.

3. Browse backup location and backup apps from iPad/iPhone/iPod to PC.

Please Note:

Choose to backup apps only or backup apps with all data files together through Settings > Apps menu.

Also, since influenced by iTunes bugs regarding app backup, Syncios currently doesn’t support backing up apps on iOS 9 and above devices.

Step 2:enter your apple id and sign into your icloud account to manage your icloud photo stream.

Export:

1. Choose photos on your iCloud Photo Stream. Hold down Ctrl/Shift key to select multiple photos you would like to export to PC.

2. Click «Export» button.

3. Browse output location and export selected photo stream to your computer.

You can simply log out your Apple ID via the Log Out button on the upper right corner.
