Новая часть получила вполне логичное название «Worms™ 3» и предлагает Вам не только узнаваемый стиль графики, доведенный до современного уровня, и полюбившихся персонажей, но и весьма внушительный список улучшений и доработок.
В число нововведений вошли свежие поля сражений, 6 новых типов оружия, полноценная сюжетная кампания из 27 миссий, что пройдут в 4 уникальных локациях («Пляж», «Жуть», «Скотный двор» и «Коллектор»), а также интересная система наград, позволяющая Вам покупать стратегические карты золотого, серебряного и бронзового типа, общее число которых составляет 41 штуку.
Кроме этого, Ваши кольчатые бойцы делятся на классы, обладающие уникальными способностями и навыками, полный список которых состоит из «Солдата», «Учёного», «Бойскаута» и «Хеви» (Тяжелое оружие). Также доступны и довольно богатые возможности кастомизации участников своей команды.
Не обошли вниманием в «Worms™ 3» и управление, которое теперь представлено не только классическими касаниями, но и новыми виртуальными джойстиками (D-Pad), так что теперь пользователи смогут выбрать из двух представленных в игре схем наиболее комфортную и удобную для себя.
